Acceptance
By using Sillage, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be 13 or older to use Sillage.
Your content
You own the content you post on Sillage (reviews, logs, photos). By posting, you grant us a license to display it within the app and service. We don't claim ownership of your content.
Community guidelines
Sillage is a journal and a conversation about fragrance. The following are not allowed anywhere in the app — in posts, reviews, comments, usernames, display names, bios or photos:
- Harassment, bullying, threats or targeted abuse of another person.
- Hate speech or slurs directed at anyone, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation.
- Sexually explicit material, gore, or content depicting violence.
- Spam, scams, counterfeit sales, or repeated unsolicited promotion.
- Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your identity.
- Anything unlawful, or content you do not have the right to post.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Sillage.
Every post, review and comment can be reported from inside the app using the … menu attached to it. Reported content is hidden from the reporting user immediately and queued for moderator review. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours. Content that breaks these guidelines is removed for all users, and the accounts responsible may be suspended or removed entirely.
Any account can also be blocked from its profile. Blocking hides that account's posts, reviews and comments from you and hides yours from them, and removes any follows between you.
Availability
We aim to keep Sillage running but can't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
Limitation of liability
Sillage is provided "as is." We're not liable for any indirect damages arising from your use of the service.
